Established in May 2025, Alison Schulte and Erica Florio are first-time business owners working out of Suites 21 & 23! Located inside The Look Salon Suites at 615 Hampton Pointe, Hillsborough, NC 27278. Weâre two queer women who dreamed big, and now Coastal + Clover is finally here! With over 13 years of combined experience, weâve poured our hearts into creating a space thatâs more than just a salon. Itâs a sanctuary where youâre seen, heard, and celebrated exactly as you are. Starting this business has been a powerful journey fueled by our deep desire to build a safe, welcoming space for everyone. As an LGBTQ+ affirming space, we welcome anyone looking for a safe, supportive salon to express themselves and explore their identity. When you sit in our chairs, youâre not just a clientâyouâre family. We specialize in custom cuts for every texture, lived-in looks, gray coverage, sun-kissed balayage, and vibrant colors that bring your wildest hair dreams to life. CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation & No-Show Policy We understand that life happens and appointments may need to be rescheduled. However, to respect the time of our clients and stylists, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment or failure to show up will result in a 50% cancellation fee. We allow a 15-minute grace period for clients. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled and will be considered a late cancellation, incurring a 50% fee. Please allow a 15-minute grace period for your stylists as they may need a few extra minutes to sanitize our suite for you. Clients who cancel or reschedule three or more consecutive appointments will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit in order to book future services. Originally from New York, Erica moved to North Carolina 13 years ago and brings over 10 years of experience behind the chair. Outside the salon, sheâs a full-time cat mom, pop-culture enthusiast, and drag queen extraordinaire! In the salon, Erica specializes in working with curly hair, face-framing layers, and extra-long styles, but is skilled cutting all hair types & lengths! She absolutely loves bringing hair to life with colorâbalayage, lived-in color, vibrant reds, highlights, and fantasy colors are her favorites to create. Erica has earned several certifications, including Masters of Balayage, KMS IQ Cutting, and Ouidad Curly Cutting, reflecting her commitment to continuing education. Having grown up with curly hair herself, Erica understands the challenges many face in salons and strives to create a welcoming, comfortable space for all hair types and backgrounds. 𩷠Her chair is a place for connection, creativity and fully being yourself.
